I think we should do this, either once or twice a day depending on how often people want it. It will provide added insurance from griefers and insurance in case something happens.

but every day we should have a backup because i guess the server saves on the same slot everytime?
if we made a backup then we can avoid grievers. since they can only destroy a days work at that particular moment
